General Terms & Conditions of AJ Express Travel Transport Services

RESERVATIONS - All reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the transfer time. The confirmation of the reservation will be e-mailed/SMS with contain link to the client once it has been accepted. The transfer service does not operate outside of our coverage areas (i.e. The service is only available to addresses show out). Hours of operation; 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Clients are asked to observe punctuality during pick up times. The transfer / airport pick-up service will not be liable where vehicles have to proceed without passengers who have failed to meet the vehicle at the required time agreed between the Agent / Client and the shuttle service

CANCELLATION - For any cancellation made by the client, the following cancellation fees will apply : 1) cancellations communicated less than 24 hours before the scheduled pick up time; 2) passengers who do not show up or leave the airport without calling the assigned drivers; 3) change of pick up timing upon the arrival of the driver at the designated pick up location and timing.

LATE ARRIVALS –The transfer service does not take any responsibility for late arrivals that exceed this waiting time. In the event of an extremely late arrival clients will, wherever possible, be picked up from the pick-up point at the convenience of the transfer service. In the unlikely event of an error on the part of the service, it will undertake to resolve the problem directly with the client and if needs be provided alternative means of transport to enable the client to reach his destination.

STRIKES & PROTESTS - The transfer service does not take any responsibility for any arrival / departure transfers affected by strikes & / or protests and it reserves the right to alter pick up times in the event of the forementioned circumstances.

ACTS OF WAR & TERRORISM - The transfer service will not take responsibility for any arrival / departure transfers affected by acts of war & / or terrorism throughout the world. The transfer service reserves the right to alter pick up times in the event of the forementioned circumstances.

VEHICLES - In extreme circumstances and peak periods, the transfer service reserves the right to replace their minibus with other forms of transport taxi, minibus, car etc. that will not necessarily be in traditional shuttle service livery.

LUGGAGE - Each passenger may take one suitcase plus one hand-carried luggage free of charge.

Additional items will cost as follows and are payable directly to the driver:

Any other items not mentioned above will be charged at the driver’s discretion. Any lost property found aboard the shuttle vehicles will be returned to head office. Clients are asked to collect lost property from this address: No 18, Jalan Ekoperniagaan 2/7, Taman Ekoperniagaan 81100 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. The transfer service does not take any responsibilty for any luggage lost /stolen or damaged from their vehicles or during pick up and drop off times.

SMOKING - Clients are requested to observe the no smoking rule on board airport shuttle vehicles.
